February 1-15, 2026
As you may have heard, RRC has recently partnered with Hand2Hand Ministries, where we pray and provide food for area students facing weekend hunger. H2H serves over 15,000 students from preschool through high school in 280 schools across West Michigan, including all 14 Rockford schools, by discreetly providing bags of food every Friday for students who face food insecurity at home. We are one of a handful of local churches that serve the Rockford schools.
In addition to serving the students at Valley View and Edgerton Trails elementary schools, RRC also provides the pantry/storage space for the six churches that are serving the Rockford school district.
Our current food drive will help stock the pantry as we enter the new school year. Items can be placed in the bins in the lobby. Please contact Lyn Peterman or Deb Coon if you have questions.
