On January 22, our church will be hosting John Van Deusen for a free concert at 7:00pm in support of his newest album, As Long As I Am in the Tent of This Body I Will Make a Joyful Noise, Pt. 1.
John is a thoughtful singer-songwriter whose music wrestles honestly with faith, doubt, grace, and hope—anchored in the gospel and shaped by real life. His newest record was recently ranked #2 on The Gospel Coalition’s year-end list of Best Christian Music of 2025.
Earlier in his career, John experienced significant momentum and visibility with a band he was in before choosing to step away from that path as he began taking his faith seriously and pursuing a different kind of faithfulness. His story—and his songs—reflect a deep love for Christ and an honest engagement with what it means to follow Him in everyday life.
The evening will feel more like a shared listening room than a loud concert—an opportunity to slow down, be present, and engage with music that points us back to Christ. John will also take time after the acoustic performance to answer questions.
All are welcome. We hope you’ll join us and invite a friend.
