Young Adults Summer Kick-Off – Young adults (18-30) join us on Friday, May 3, at 6pm at the Claytons for our Summer Kickoff event! It’s a time to relax, enjoy good food, play some yard games, and connect with friends around a bonfire. RSVP to Tim VanderZwaag at tim.v@rockfordrc.org by April 29 so we can prepare enough food and drinks. Don’t miss this chance to kick off summer with fellow young adults in our community.

Softball begins on May 7. Come out and cheer on our team Tuesday nights! Each week is a double header, and it's a great time to hang out with people from church outside of Sunday mornings. Bringing a chair is suggested. Anyone interested in playing full time or part time can contact Brandon Mueller.

Game Time is starting up again on May 7. It will meet the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8pm in the Fireside Room. Game Time is a monthly gathering of people who love board games and card games or those who want to learn. We have teachers for each board game that we bring and do our best to chose games that are easy to pick up and play. If you prefer card games, we'll have those available as well. All you need to do is show up! It’s a great chance to build community and have fun while doing it. Hope to see you there!

Grad Sunday – May 19. If you have a high school or college graduate this year, let us know and we’ll include them in our grad booklet. We’ll take care of the layout. A basic entry would include a photo, student’s name, where they are graduating from, parent(s) names, and perhaps any college or future plans. We’ll have a few students per page. If you would like to include more info as we have in past years (bible verse, letter to the graduate, etc), you can still do so and we will give them more space, up to a full page. Please have all information to us by May 12.

Volunteers needed for the Rockford Summer Parade on June 15 at 11:00am to ride in the trailer and walk along side and pass out candy. Questions about the parade please see Jaime Mueller. Sign up online here.

We also need volunteers for the Summer Blast on June 23 from 5-7 pm. Volunteers needed for setup, tear down, games, Bible story, crafts, food serving. Questions about the summer blast please see Jeannie Remelts. Sign up online here.

Buy-A-Brick – Orders due June 2. Memorialize loved ones that are no longer with us by purchasing an engraved brick to be placed in the heart-shaped patio in our Memorial Prayer Garden. Bricks are ordered once a year around Memorial Day. Order online here.

Our Children’s Ministry is looking for more volunteers for Nursery and/or KidLife Worship. If you didn’t receive an email from Emily asking for your availability the next quarter, or if you wish to volunteer, please get in touch with Emily Cutter (rrccm@rockfordrc.org).

Join Kevin and Sherry Harney for Ignite! One Day for the Gospel at Family Church’s Redwood Campus (10717 Adams St, Holland, MI) on Saturday, May 18th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ignite! One Day for the Gospel is a half-day event designed to mobilize and motivate Christians to take a next step forward in their personal spiritual growth and outreach. If you plan to attend, please let the front office know by May 9 so we can send in one registration.

Save the Date! RRC Kids Summer Blast will take place on Sunday, June 23, from 5-7pm.
